We celebrated Christmas early today with Aron's dad and his wife Beverly. Carl and Bev are heading to Florida in just a few weeks where they spend the winter months. After seeing snowflakes this week, I am quite jealous of their travels southward! Hopefully Mother Nature will be easy on Michigan this year. Today, we spent an enjoyable afternoon catching up while eating, watching football (GO LIONS), and opening presents! Russell and Sloane couldn't have been more delighted to see presents being carried in. They were bubbling over with excitement and could barely get through their meal. Needless to say they spent the rest of the day playing with their new toys.
Russell received the Imaginext pirate ship.
He kept busy having sword fights, shooting off cannons, and sailing the seas.
Sloane received the Barbie Pet Doctor set.
She kept busy fixing the pony's broken leg and brushing Barbie's hair.

SO cute! I got your text on Friday but it has been a bit crazy. About the AG...Ella got her's for Christmas when she was 5. She is highly responsible with it. The doll is worth the investment. The pieces that could get lost are the itty bitty extras you purchase so you could just opt to get those as she grows up. We are contemplating getting her a 2nd this year bc she plays with it all the time, still. NOw she loves doing the hair and matching the outfits. Good luck!
